…I suffered much sexual abuse throughout my early childhood….After
leaving my family, I lived with a very abusive man whom I married
and had a child with. Five years ago, my son and I got away
from him. The two of us have built a really awesome, safe life
together...
There are always going to be bad things that happen in life
but they have nourished what I have become....My art represents
all of my accomplishments and things I am proud of that I
have done since taking control of my life and separating myself
from the negative people.
