The Worthington International Festival held annually in Southwest Minnesota brings together a diverse community for a weekend of celebration. The Cultural Awareness Organization works with community leaders to present a multicultural festival that is free to the public and includes Minnesota folk and traditional performers, foods, artist booths, and children's activities.

Held every July at the Nobles County Government Center, in downtown Worthington, the festival highlights include a talent contest, and music and food from around the world. From American bluegrass to Celtic dance, African rhythm and Korean dancers, the festival, which is supported through a Minnesota Festival Support grant, has broad public appeal.

A parade of flags representing 40 countries from around the world kicks off the event. Everyone in attendance is involved, from Boy Scouts to Bollywood dancers.
