$2,153; writer Florence Dacey will lead a creative writing residency on the theme “Pioneer Days,” focusing on journal and poetry writing for students

Cook County High School, Grand Marais
$2,234; Elizabeth Dwyer will work with sophomores and a junior/senior drama class to develop skills in character development for actors

Cook County Middle School, Grand Marais
$2,484; writer Margot Fortunato Galt will conduct a residency with eighth graders focused on reading and writing about the Holocaust

H. A. Hagg Elementary, Clarkfield
$2,039; writer Florence Dacey will lead a creative writing residency on the theme “Pioneer Days,” focusing on journal and poetry writing for students

Le Center Elementary, Le Center
$2,500; Eva Barr will conduct a theater residency with grades 3-6 focusing on the fundamentals of theater with an emphasis on the journey of Lewis and Clark

Le Sueur-Henderson High School, Le Sueur
$2,075; writer Margot Galt will conduct a residency on memory and finding narrative voice to express the memory at Le Sueur-Henderson High School

Liberty Elementary, Big Lake
$2,492; artist Mary Jo Pauly will provide book art exploration with second grade students at Liberty Elementary in Big Lake

Minnehaha Elementary School, Two Harbors
$2,100; musicians Joan Griffith and Ruth MacKenzie will inspire sixth grade students to make music through jazz and improvisation at Minnehaha Elementary

Park Elementary, Le Sueur
$2,500; singer-songwriter Larry Long will conduct a residency at Park Elementary focusing on celebrating community through diversity and elders’ wisdom

Sauk Centre Elementary School, Sauk Centre
$2,500; artist Marcia McEachron will conduct a residency focused on watercolors to address the imaginative and creative processes

Voyageurs Expeditionary High School, Bemidji
$2,500; Barry Kleider will teach skills needed for documentary photography as well as an understanding of how art and photography intersect
