Transit and Parking

Metro Transit Service: Call Metro Transit at (612) 373-3333 for information on bus and train routes and fares, or visit the Metro Transit Web site. The Green Line light rail stops at Union Depot, two blocks south of Park Square Court.

There is metered parking around the Park Square Court/Mears Park area. Most meters have a two hour limit, and cost $2.00 per hour. During events at the CHS field and Xcel Energy Center, event rates apply. For more information on metered parking, see City of Saint Paul Web site.

All-day parking is available in many surface lots and ramps around Lowertown. Daily rates vary from $3 up to $20, with lower rates generally available north of 7th Street or south and east of Fifth and Wall. Many lots are combined daily and monthly parking, so daily spaces fill up early. Saint Paul Smart Trips has information on parking ramps, but rates may not be up-to-date.
