$4,543; Maria Olofsdotter will conduct an interdisciplinary residency revolving around poetry as a creative art form in combination with visual arts disciplines

Ely Public Schools, Ely
$1,567; musician Michael Monroe will work with students to create a song representative of the Ely area

$3,840; Margot Galt and T. Mychael Rambo will conduct residencies in literary and theater arts; Galt will examine the multicultural exchanges between Native Americans and African Americans; Rambo will focus on the elements of theater

$5,450; artists Meredith Holt, Ross Sutter, Mick LaBriola, and T. Mychael Rambo will conduct residencies focusing on the many cultures present in our schools

$3,375; African dancer and drummer Francis Kofi will conduct a residency focusing on rhythms of Africa

$4,262; Rhonda Lund’s residency will combine math and language arts curriculums; artist and teachers will use drama to teach problem solving for math word problems

$3,400; taiko drummer Sara Dejoras will instruct children in the culture, history, and practice of taiko drumming
