Visual artist Susan Armington will conduct a residency using art as a tool to create conversation/understanding about the issue of integration. Third and fourth grade students will interview community members for various cultures (Caucasian, Mexican-American, Somali and Native America) and created a banner that reflects their experiences and stories. Sixth grade students will create a video documentary of the project.
