The Minnesota State Arts Board and Arts Midwest have awarded $361,200 to twenty-one
Minnesota arts organizations to help preserve jobs in the nonprofit arts
sector that are threatened by the current economic downturn.
The grants are part
of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act / Minnesota Arts Jobs grant
program. Funding for the program was provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act of 2009, through the National Endowment for the Arts.
