Arts in Education Organizational Support

This program encourages and expands the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality arts residency programs to schools. It provides two-year grants to arts organizations that produce school residency programs.

Important note: The Arts Board intends to discontinue Arts in Education Organizational Support as a stand-alone grant program after FY 2011. Organizations that have been funded in this program are encouraged to consider applying to the Arts Board’s new Arts Learning program in the future.

Who can apply: FY 2011 is the second year of the two-year grant cycle.Nonprofit producing or exhibiting arts organizations that were awarded grants in FY2010 will be eligible to apply for grants in FY 2011.

Grant amount: Varies. Expense restrictions affect the size of the grant. Grants typically range from $1,000 to $40,000.

Application deadline: FY 2011 interim applications were required to have been submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2010.
