Arts in Education CAPP School Support Grants
CAPP School Support is a component of the Minnesota State Arts Board Arts Learning program. It is designed to enable
CAPP committees to present low cost artist residences in their districts. The program also is meant to acquaint CAPP committees
with the grant seeking process and engage schools that have not actively competed for the regular Arts Board residency grants.
Who can apply
Any public or private nonparochial school or nonprofit educational organization in Minnesota whose
primary focus is education of students in grades K-12, and also is:
- A school located in a CAPP district designated by the CAPP advisory committee through the Perpich Center and the Minnesota State Arts Board;
- A school that did NOT receive an Arts Board School Support grant for FY 2010;
- A school that has created a CAPP long-range plan and currently is implementing the plan.
Grant amount: Schools may request grants of up to $3,000; grant request cannot exceed 75 percent of the total residency cost.
Application deadline
Applications will be accepted any time between August 4, 2012, and April 26, 2013.
