Arts in Education CAPP School Support Grants

CAPP School Support is a component of the Minnesota State Arts Board Arts Learning program. It is designed to enable CAPP committees to present low cost artist residences in their districts. The program also is meant to acquaint CAPP committees with the grant seeking process and engage schools that have not actively competed for the regular Arts Board residency grants.

Who can apply: Any public or private nonparochial school or nonprofit educational organization in Minnesota whose primary focus is education of students in grades K-12, and also is:

  • A school located in a CAPP district designated by the CAPP advisory committee through the Perpich Center and the Minnesota State Arts Board;
  • A school that did NOT receive an Arts Board School Support grant for FY 2010;
  • A school that has created a CAPP long-range plan and currently is implementing the plan.

Grant amount: Schools may request grants of up to $2,500; grant request cannot exceed 75 percent of the total residency cost.

Application deadline: Applications will be accepted any time between Agust 23, 2010, and April 30, 2011.
