Institutional Support Grants
This program provides unrestricted operating grants to high quality, established
arts organizations that produce or exhibit works of art, or offer a broad range
of services to artists.
Who can apply: The Institutional Support grant program is
open to nonprofit arts producing or service organizations established in Minnesota
that have at least one professional staff person, have been in existence at
least two years, and have an average annual operating budget of at least $149,000
(averaged over the organization’s two most recently audited fiscal years).
Grant amounts: Varies, depending on the size of the applicant’s
annual operating budget
Application deadline: Institutional Support grants
are two-year operating grants. Only those organizations that were awarded
a grant for FY 2010 will be eligible to apply for a grant in FY 2011.
FY 2011 interim year applications must be submitted no
later than 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2010.
New applicants that would like to apply for a two-year Institutional Support grant will
be able to do so in early 2011.
