Arts Across Minnesota Touring Directory
The deadline for this program is passed for the fiscal year discussed in this page. Information and forms on this page are for reference only.
The Touring Directory is a Web-based listing of nonprofit performing and visual arts organizations in Minnesota that offer public performances, exhibitions, and community residency programming. The Arts Board encourages potential Host Community grant applicants to use the directory to select an organization to present. However, applicants are not required to select an organization from the directory, and inclusion in the directory does not guarantee a booking with an Arts Across Minnesota grantee. The directory may also be used to select groups for Festivals. Beyond its uses for Arts Across Minnesota grant applicants, the directory can serve as a resource to any organization or community seeking a touring performance or exhibition to present.
Who can apply: Any Minnesota nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3), professional performing or visual arts organization that:
- Demonstrates a history of touring activity;
- Is able and willing to travel to every region of Minnesota;
- Provides the following three types of community residency services:
- Public performance(s) or exhibition(s);
- Community classes or training workshops for adults, including where possible, local professional or avocational artists; and
- Workshop activities involving young people or K-12 students in schools or community organizations.
Grant range: N/A. This is a marketing resource, not a grant program.
Application deadline: Friday, April 18, 2008
